Children and Youth Programs
Sunday School: For children pre-K through 6th grade. We will kick things off with an in-person event on Sunday, September 13th at Mt. Lebanon Park, at the big pavilion by the playground. Each class will have their own separate meeting time and will last approximately 30 minutes.
We will require masks for all participants, and we will social distance. One parent should stay with each child. After the kick-off, we will move to using Zoom for class each week. Sunday school will be on Sunday mornings from 10am to 10:30am. We will continue via Zoom through Sunday, October 11th, at which time we will make a decision as to how Sunday School will proceed (in person, or continued Zoom).
Confirmation Class: For 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. We will kick off with an in person event on Sunday, September 13th, from 6pm-7pm at Mt. Lebanon Park at the big pavilion by the playground. We will require masks for all participants and will social distance, and will meet in separate groups by grade. Classes will meet on Sunday evenings from 5pm to 6pm, in person or on Zoom. If in person, we will meet outside with masks for all and social distancing. As the fall goes forward we will continue to reassess our plan.
Senior EYC: For 9th through 12th grade youth. We will meet on Wednesday evenings, beginning on September 16th from 7pm to 8:30pm, and we will meet in person (outdoors, with masks and social distancing) OR on Zoom. As the fall goes on we will continue to reassess our plan.
Children's Choirs: As you may know, singing isn't something we have been doing much of since COVID began. We are looking at how we may be able to have children's choirs, in some fashion. If you want your child to participate in music opportunities, please check this box, and Christin Cooper will reach out to you.
Christmas Pageant, Passion Play, and other special events: These events are far enough in the future that we cannot know what the condition of our community will be at that time. We will make decisions closer to the times that these are occurring.
Praise Band: If your child plays an instrument, please check the box and Christin Cooper will reach out to you-- there will be an ongoing discussion regarding how praise band may be able to continue and perform in worship services during the pandemic.
***Does your child have a need for consistent online Children's Ministry opportunities? Please check that box and Kristen Morgan will be in touch with you!

In our church, we work hard to spend our funds wisely; we plan our budget based on the funds committed by those who pledge. As a member of our community, we invite you to participate in our annual stewardship campaign through your personal financial pledge and to participate fully in the events of this Stewardship season. Please keep our upcoming campaign in your prayers, and know that with God's help we will continue to build this wonderful church.
